Mobile RPGs actually worth your battery
Mobile RPGs have a reputation problem: too many of them are menus with a story bolted on. But a few genuinely deliver, and Emberfall Saga is near the top of our list right now.
What separates the good ones is combat you want to think about. Turn-based systems tend to age well on touch screens because they don't fight your fingers. Positioning, timing, party composition — those are the things that keep us coming back.
Battery matters too, and we test for it. A great RPG that drains your phone in forty minutes is a hard sell. The best entries stay smooth on older hardware and let you play in short bursts.
If you're new to the genre, start with something story-forward and generous with tutorials. Once the systems click, the deeper games open up on their own.
