Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots and arguing about whether a game was worth the space on our phones. At some point we decided to write it all down properly, and the site grew from there.,We're a small independent team. Nobody hands us a schedule of what to cover — we pick games because they look interesting, because a reader mentioned them, or because we simply got curious. Every review means someone here actually installed the thing and played it for real, not for ten minutes.,When we choose what to review we try to cover the whole map: a chunky RPG one week, a quick arcade time-killer the next, a strategy game that eats a whole weekend after that. We care less about hype and more about whether a game respects your time and attention.,Everything you read is written by people, edited by people, and reflects our own opinion. If we didn't like something, we say so — politely, but plainly.
