Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a mood as much as a game. You play a lamplighter walking through a village that's slowly being forgotten, lighting lamps and piecing together small stories from the people you meet. There's no combat, no timers — just wandering and paying attention.

The pacing is deliberate and the atmosphere does a lot of the work: soft music, warm light spreading over dark streets, little details that reward curiosity. We finished it in a couple of sittings and thought about it afterwards.

It's short and it won't be for everyone, especially if you like action. But as a gentle, thoughtful adventure it's one of the more memorable things we've played on a phone.
